About Dr Ruth Whitby
Professor Ruth Whitby has more than 35 years’ experience in General Practice and is the Chair of General Practice and Director of Concierge Medicine at Cleveland Clinic London.
Ruth has a special interest in general and family medicine, patients of all ages, stress management, anxiety, depression, and health screening. Ruth provides a personal service to her patients ensuring continuity and quality of care.
She was the first native English-speaking doctor to be awarded a Japanese Medical License whilst working as a GP in Tokyo from 1994 to 1997, and holds a medical degree from King’s College London, a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology, and a first-class honours degree in neuroanatomy.
